主讲人简介:
Frydman was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1965, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry (1986) and a PhD in physical chemistry (1990) from the University of Buenos Aires. In 1992, after a two-year postdoc at the University of California, Berkeley, he joined the department of chemistry of the University of Illinois at Chicago as an assistant professor, becoming full professor in 1999. In 2001, he moved to Israel to become professor at the Weizmann Institute, where he currently works at the department of chemical physics. Since 2011 he is editor in chief of the Journal of Magnetic Resonance, and chairman of Euromar’s board of trustees.  In 2012 Frydman became the director of the Helen L. and Martin S. Kimmel Institute for Magnetic Resonance, and chief scientist in chemistry and biology at the U.S. National High Magnetic Field Lab. Frydman’s research focuses on magnetic resonance spectroscopy and imaging in solids, liquids and under in vivo conditions.
