摘要：Introduce a new quasi 2-D material, silicene, the Si analogy of graphene, and possible heterostructures of
silicene and graphene. Describe a bottom up approach to make graphene micro- or nano-structures by converting
a SiC thin film into graphene with a small power CW laser, and attempt to deposite Si on graphene.
