个人简介:

    柳清伙,教授,博士生导师,国家“千人计划”特聘专家,厦门大学特聘教授,教育部“长江学者奖励计划讲座教授”,美国杜克大学终身教授,IEEE Fellow、美国声学学会Fellow。分别于1983年7月和1986年7月获得厦门大学物理系学士学位和硕士学位;1986年9月去美国留学,1989年1月获得伊利诺依大学香槟分校(UIUC)电子工程专业博士学位;1989年2月至1990年2月在美国伊利诺依大学电机与计算机工程系从事博士后研究工作;1990年3月至1995年12月任美国斯伦贝谢-道尔研究中心科学家及项目主管;1996年1月至1999年5月任美国新墨西哥州立大学电机与计算机工程系副教授;1999年6月至2003年12月任美国杜克大学电机与计算机工程系副教授;2004年1月至今任美国杜克大学电机与计算机工程系教授;2011年5月至今任厦门大学电子科学系名誉系主任。

    柳清伙教授研究方向为电磁学、声学以及电磁场和声波场的超分辨成像方法,并将此广泛地应用于地球物理、集成电路封装、复杂介质探测、环境保护及医疗成像。迄今已在国际刊物上发表SCI论文超过300余篇,发表了400篇会议论文,H 指数为41,SCI引用次数超6000次(Google Scholar)。因在地球物理勘探研究领域的贡献,于1996 年被美国白宫授予首届总统青年科学家奖(Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers),并获得1996年美国国家环保署授予的青年科学家奖,及1997 美国国家科学基金会授予的青年科学家奖。曾获中国长江讲座教授、海外杰出青年等荣誉。现任Proceedings of the IEEE 客座主编(《大规模电磁计算及应用》专刊,2013年2月出版),《IEEE Journal on Multiscale and Multiphysics Computational Techniques》第一任主编, 《IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing 》副主编,《Progress in Electromagnetics Research》副总主编, 《Journal of Computational Acoustics 》主编,IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Distinguished Lecture for 2014-2016.

取得的代表性成果:

迄今已在国际刊物上发表SCI论文超过300余篇,发表了400篇会议论文,H 指数为41,SCI引用次数超6000次(Google Scholar)。

●提出了弹性波的理想匹配层(PML)并将此应用于地震波计算、声波测井计算;

● 在计算电磁学提出时域伪谱(PSTD)法;

●提出孔隙介质弹性波的理想匹配层;

● 提出弹性波各向异性介质、受地应力各向异性介质的弹性波的理想匹配层(PML)并将此应用于声波测井;

●解决了任意分层的复杂介质中三维目标的快速体积分BCGS-FFT算法,使计算量从O(N2)降到O(NlogN),并将它应用到油气勘探;

●解决了任意分层的复杂介质中三维目标逆散射问题;

●提出对于含时Maxwell方程组有限元和谱元的无伪模基函数。借助于这些基函数,提出了基于时域有限元(FETD)与基于时域谱元(SETD)相结合的DGTD(时域间断迦略金法)多尺度电磁学求解法,此解法可计算“多尺度比率”超过几万倍的电磁场问题。该文章荣获2011年IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging, and Manufacturing Technology最佳论文奖。
